The Tappan Zee Bridge Project consists in a new 3.1-mile state-of-the-art, twin-span bridge across the Hudson River between Rockland and Westchester counties in the State of New York. The project is the largest single design-build contracts for a transportation project in the United States. The Gordie Howe Project consists in designing, building, financing and operating a cable stayed bridge, approaches and port of entries at the border between United States and Canada across the Detroit River. When completed in 2024, it will be the longest and tallest cable stayed bridge in North America.
LCI Precon provided in 2018 estimating services to the successful leading contractors joint venture Bridging North America. LCI Precon estimated the cable stayed and approach bridges portion of the project.

The Purple Line is a 16-mile light rail line that will extend from Bethesda in Montgomery County to New Carrollton in Prince George’s County. It will provide a direct connection to the Metrorail Red, Green and Orange Lines; at Bethesda, Silver Spring, College Park, and New Carrollton. The Purple Line will also connect to MARC, Amtrak, and local bus services.
In 2021 LCI Precon has supported the successful leading contractor joint venture bidding the Project. LCI Precon provided quantities take-off services, estimating, procurement, contract analysis and cash-flow exercises in a complex re-bidding process after termination of the previous in construction contract.

The Automated People Mover (APM) at Los Angeles International Airport, is a project commissioned by LAWA as part of the LAMP Program. It includes an electric train system on a 2.25 mile elevated guideway with six stations total – three inside the Central Terminal Area (CTA) and three Outside.
In this project in 2017, LCI Precon provided bid managing services, supporting the successful main contractors joint venture LINXS . LCI Precon also provided design alternative technical concepts, risk management assessment, construction schedule models and estimating services.

The Ohio River Bridges Project was a Louisville metropolitan area transportation project involving the reconstruction of the Kennedy Interchange (locally known as “Spaghetti Junction”), the completion of two new Ohio River bridges and the reconstruction of ramps on Interstate 65 between Muhammad Ali Boulevard and downtown.
In 2012, LCI Precon provided design management services to main contractors joint venture. We supported the estimating teams by providing construction and scheduling assessments and coordination with the design team.
